Oyster Stew

I know I don't keep up this blog as much as I used to. Frankly, I just don't eat interesting food EVERY single day. Sometimes you just wanna eat toast and have a cup of tea, ya know?

Sometimes I think I should kill this site, and just post yucky food blogs at twinkiechan.com/blog. I'm not sure. If you have any thoughts about this, I'm all ears! And then I'll think about how much I love the IDEA of this site, and how I NEED a logo that represents a can opener and a spoon, the official tools of a Yucky Stuff AdventureEater.

At any rate, I've had this little gem in my cupboards for some time. I bring you: Oyster Stew.

(Sorry about the really scary preview pic down there. I don't know that you can control that on Flickr!!!)

  5. I couldn't do it myself. As for ideas, you should have Yucky Stuff guest bloggers to take some of the pressure off of you entirely.

  6. I'd love to see you mash the two blogs together. See everything you're up to in one spot. 'yucky stuff' can just become a feature!

  9. Thanks for your thoughts on what to do with the blog! I'll keep it up for now, and see in a little bit. Half of me hoped it would take off a little bit and become it's own thing apart from my other site, but I really don't post on it as much as I thought!!! Time to buy more icky food. Haha.

  13. Ive never said this to a lady before...but with all the "stuff" you eat...how bad does it have to be when you poop? I mean I imagine it would be stronger than most peoples poop and probably less "solid" if you will. It just boggles the mind I tells ya!

  14. Eeew, oyster stew is the most horrible thing ever... (And I LOVE clam chowder - it is soooo not the same.) I was starving one day and my brother had some in his kitchen cabinet so I gave it a shot; I like to try weird stuff too. It tasted like... well, hot buttered milk with lumps. The lumps were the worst part; They ranged from squishy/chewy to slimy and crumbly. I ate like 1/4 of it and threw it out. Was so grossed out I didn't eat the rest of the day. lol.. You are a brave soul.
